Step 1 of 7

Open Pepperstone and get TradingView free

Open your trading account through our link — it unlocks your lower Navigator price and free TradingView.

All steps

The Navigator runs on TradingView, and Pepperstone is the broker we trade through. Opening your account through our link is what unlocks your lower Navigator price and 3 months of TradingView free.

Pick your free TradingView plan

  • Open our referral link: Open a Pepperstone account.
  • The page opens on a blue banner. Scroll down until you see the three plans: Essential, Plus and Premium.
  • Under the plan you want, click Sign up with this plan. We recommend Premium — it’s the best value.
  • Already paying for TradingView? Sign up for the same plan you’re paying for now. If you pick a different plan, your account gets converted onto that plan instead — usually not what you want. Pick the same plan and the 3 free months are simply added to your expiry.
The link opens on this page. Scroll down to find the three plans.

Create your Pepperstone account

  • Sign up with your Apple, Google or Facebook account, or click Continue with email and use your email address.
  • Use an email you check often — Pepperstone sends the verification result there.
Pick a sign-up method. Continue with email is the simplest.

Create your profile

  • Set Country of residence to Singapore and Account type to Individual, then click Continue.
  • On the next page, check the country is still Singapore, tick I agree to the terms and declaration, then click Continue.
Singapore, Individual, then Continue.
Tick the declaration, then Continue.
  • Fill in your given name and family name exactly as they appear on your NRIC or passport, plus your date of birth and mobile number. Click Next.
Names must match your government ID.

Answer the trading suitability questions

  • Pepperstone asks a few questions about your finances and trading experience. Click Continue to start — your progress is saved as you go.
Click Continue to begin the questions.
  • Employment information: pick your employment status, then tick why you want to trade. Speculation is the usual answer.
  • Financial information: pick the ranges that fit your annual income, your savings and investments, and where your trading funds come from.
Employment status and reason for trading.
Income, savings and source of funds.

Choose your trading mode

  • Retail gives you leverage up to 200:1. Pepperstone Pro goes up to 1000:1 with lower margin close-out levels.
  • Either is fine. If you’re unsure, pick Retail. Then click Continue.
Retail is the safe default.

Experience check

  • For “How long have you been trading CFDs or FX?”, select More than 2 years, then click Continue.
  • For the risk question, select Yes, then click Continue.
Select More than 2 years.
Select Yes.

Verify your identity

  • On Verify it’s you, click Continue.
  • Fill in your nationality and place of birth, then your address. Use the address on your NRIC — it has to match your proof of address if Pepperstone asks for one.
Click Continue.
Nationality and place of birth.
Your address as on your NRIC.
  • Pepperstone now checks your details electronically. Most people are verified on the spot and land straight on the Trading Accounts page — if that’s you, skip to Are you verified?.
  • If Pepperstone needs more, it asks for a document. Click Start verification: an identity document first, then a face scan.
  • Have your document ready: NRIC or driving licence (front and back), or your passport. Malaysia clients: IC front and back, plus driving licence front and back as proof of address.
  • Choose your document type and follow the prompts. Click Continue on phone if you’d rather use your phone camera — it’s usually easier. For the face scan, make sure you’re the only person in the frame.
Click Start verification.
Pick your document type.

Tell us you’ve applied

  • Message Joseph on WhatsApp at 8200 7039 or on Telegram with the phone number and email you signed up with — something like “Hi Joseph, my number is 8288 7777 and my email is jane@gmail.com”.
  • We’ll confirm your account is linked to us — that’s what unlocks your lower price and the free TradingView plan. If Pepperstone is still checking your documents, we can help speed that up too.

Are you verified?

Log in to the Pepperstone portal at secure.pepperstone.com and open Trading Accounts in the left-hand menu. The Add a trading account button tells you where you stand:

Blue button: verified
Grey button: not yet
  • Blue — you’re verified. Go straight to Add your TradingView trading account.
  • Grey — Pepperstone is still checking. After your face scan you’ll have seen a “We are still verifying” screen; the result comes by email within 12 hours. Wait for that email, then come back here.
Still verifying? Pepperstone emails you within 12 hours.

Already had a Pepperstone account before today? You don’t need a new one — it just needs to be linked to us:

  1. WhatsApp Erik, our Pepperstone account manager, on +61 431 750 066: “Hi, I have an existing Pepperstone account with email ____, can you link me under Robin & Joseph IB”.
  2. Then message Joseph on WhatsApp at 8200 7039 or on Telegram so we can confirm the link went through.
  3. Once that’s done: if you already have a TradingView trading account, go straight to adding funds; if not, add one in the next section.

Add your TradingView trading account

Everyone needs this step, new or existing. Your Pepperstone login is one thing; the trading account that connects to TradingView is added separately, once you’re verified.

  • On the Trading Accounts page, make sure the Live tab is selected, then click the blue Add a trading account button on the right.
Trading Accounts, Live tab, then Add a trading account.
  • In the Request New Live Account box, set Choose your preferred trading platform to TradingView — that’s the one that matters.
  • Set Currency to SGD and leave Account type as Razor. Leverage is 1:200 on a Retail account; a Pro account defaults to 1:500. Add a nickname like “TV acc” if you like, then click Submit.
TradingView as the platform, SGD, Razor, then Submit.
  • One SGD account covers every market. You trade every market straight from your Singapore dollar account. Your money is never swapped into the market’s currency to buy and then swapped back; it stays in Singapore dollars throughout, so there’s no need for a US dollar or any other foreign-currency account.

Add funds

  • Log in to the Pepperstone portal and check you’re funding the TradingView trading account — it shows the TradingView logo. Click Deposit.
Check for the TradingView logo, then click Deposit.
  • Choose PayNow. It’s the only method with zero fees — others sometimes charge even when they say 0%.
  • Enter your amount, click Generate QR Code, and scan it with your banking app to pay.
The PayNow option on the funding page.

Any trouble with funding or the account itself, Erik is your man — the same WhatsApp number above.
