Step 6 of 7

Redeem your free TradingView plan

Funded your account and placed a trade? Pepperstone emails you a coupon for your free TradingView plan — here's how to claim it and keep it free.

All steps

Once your account is funded and you’ve placed your first trade, Pepperstone unlocks your free TradingView plan and sends it to you as a coupon link by email. Here’s how to claim it — and how to keep it free after the first three months.

Watch for the coupon email

  • Once you’ve deposited the amount for your plan and placed your first trade, Pepperstone emails you the link for your free three-month TradingView plan. It usually arrives within 24 hours.

  • The amount you deposit decides which plan you unlock:
TradingView PlanTo RedeemTo Renew
Essential — worth $25 SGD/month$400 SGD deposit + 1 trade12 lots
Plus — worth $50 SGD/month$1,300 SGD deposit + 1 trade15 lots
Premium — worth $99 SGD/month$3,900 SGD deposit + 1 trade35 lots
  • Already on a paid TradingView plan? Nothing’s wasted — the three months are added on top of your current expiry date.
  • Click the link in the email. You’ll be asked to fill in your card details — that’s a normal part of switching the plan on.

Why you’ll see a $1 charge

  • You’ll notice a charge of $1, plus 9 cents of GST. This isn’t a real payment.
  • It’s a temporary hold. TradingView — like most subscription sites — places it to check your card is valid and switch your plan on.
  • Both the $1 and the 9 cents come back to your card within a few days, so in the end you pay nothing.
On the checkout, your promo code brings it down to a $1 hold plus 9 cents GST — both refunded.

Make sure auto-renewal is off

  • Claiming the coupon sometimes switches auto-renewal on. If it’s left on, TradingView charges your card the full price when the three months are up. Take a minute to switch it off now.
  • On TradingView, click the round profile icon in the top-left corner, hover over your username and click “Settings and billing”.
Click the round profile icon, hover over your username, then click Settings and billing.
  • Click “Subscriptions” in the left menu, then “Cancel subscription” under your current plan.
Under Subscriptions, click Cancel subscription next to your current plan so it doesn't renew.
  • Don’t worry, this doesn’t cut your plan short. It stays active until the end of the three months; cancelling only stops the renewal charge.

Renew the promotion and enjoy TradingView free forever

  • The free plan runs for three months at a time, and you can keep renewing it for free for as long as you like.
  • All it takes is hitting your plan’s lot target within each three-month window — the last column in the table above. For Essential, that’s 12 lots.
  • Different markets count differently towards that target:
    • Forex & Gold — 1 lot counts as 1
    • Shares & Indices — 10 lots count as 1
    • Crypto — 4 lots count as 1
  • You can mix markets to get there — for example, 6 lots of Forex/Gold plus 60 lots of Indices makes 12 lots.
  • You don’t need to apply for the renewal. Once you hit your lot target, Pepperstone emails you a fresh coupon link for the next three months. Look out for a subject line like “You have reached a min of 35 lots traded” (the number depends on your plan).
  • Click the link and redeem it the same way you did the first time, then check auto-renewal is off again, and you’re set for another three months.
The renewal email from Pepperstone with your next coupon link — it arrives on its own once you hit your lot target.
